Carmen electra was born on April 20, 1972 in Cincinnati, Ohio as Tara Leigh Patrick has become the bad girl of female celebritydom. Tara changed her name to Carmen Electra before releasing her first self titled album in 1992.

Growing up in White Oak, Ohio, at the age of nine, she was selected for the School for Creative and Performing Arts. While studying there, she took singing lessons, and by her teenage years, she was dancing in musicals and doing her own choreographing for the school's theater.

Four years later, she moved to L.A., and changed her name to Carmen Electra. Soon after her arrival in LA, she met the celebrity star performer known as Prince. For all practical purposes, she had just been discovered.

She did have some success with the tune Go-go Dancer but largely her musical career was a flop. Electra carried her popularity on with a role in Good Burger and landed Jenny McCarthy's departed position on MTV's Remote Control in the same year, while on top of that landing a role in Baywatch playing the part of Lani McKensie.

Carmen Electra appeared in one of the bigger movies of 2000, Scary Movie. She is also following suit in 2001 with her appearance in Perfume. She dated rapper B-Real of cypress Hill. Carmen currently lives in Los Angeles. And is also in the running to star in her own network primetime show.

Carmen has been in-and-out of the papers as they document her crazy relationship with Dennis Rodman. The two were married in a quickie marriage in Las Vegas while he was drunk.
